When I turned on my air conditioner a few days ago, I was really surprised to feel hot air blowing out of it. I checked everything that I knew to check, but it didn’t help any. I am a single woman living on my own, and most of my friends are just as clueless as I am about things like this. I decided rather than bug the one or two who might have a few suggestions, I should just call someone who does professional AC repair in NYC. Since I had never had to do that before, I went online to see what my options were.
I wanted someone who was close enough to where they might be able to come out the same day, and I also wanted someone who was not going to charge me an arm and a leg for this. I looked at a few different websites, and I knew which company I was going to use within minutes. I chose the one that explained a lot of details on its website, and it also stated that they are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Since I wanted it fixed that night if possible, I gave them a call to see if there was a chance of that happening. They were able to come out within just a couple of hours, and he determined that it was just low in refrigerant. I had no idea what he even meant by that, but it was an easy enough fix because he had cold air coming out within about 15 minutes of his being here. Air conditioning never felt so good to me! He also suggested that I have regular inspections on it to avoid problems like this in the future, which is a tip that I am definitely going to do.
